Directions to Twin Brook Recreation Area, Cumberland, Maine

From I-295, Northbound (from Portland and points south)

Two Options

Take I- 295 north to Exit 10 (Bucknam Road, Falmouth)

At the top of the ramp, turn right. Follow Bucknam Road a short distance to the traffic light at intersection with Route 9. Turn right on Route 9. At approx. ¼ mile, just past a church on the right, the road forks. Stay to the LEFT and continue on Route 9 Follow Route 9 for approx. 4 miles. At the next traffic light in the center of Cumberland, turn right onto Tuttle Road Stay on Tuttle Road for 1.7 miles, passing Mabel Wilson School, the Cumberland Town Hall and over railroad tracks. Twin Brook will be on the left side of the road

Or Take I-295 north to Exit 15 (Yarmouth-Cumberland) (Note that Exit 15 is the next exit after Exit 10.)

At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 for just over a mile. Following a sign that reads Cumberland and Route 88, turn left onto a short connector that takes you up to Tuttle Road. Turn right on Tuttle (away from Route 88 and Cumberland Foreside) toward Cumberland Center, crossing over 295. Proceed 1.6 miles. Twin Brook will be on your right.

From I-295, Southbound (from Freeport, Brunswick and points north)

Take Exit 15 (Yarmouth–Cumberland)

At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 for just over a mile. Following a sign that reads Cumberland and Route 88, turn left onto a short connector that takes you up to Tuttle Road. Turn right on Tuttle (away from Route 88 and Cumberland Foreside) toward Cumberland Center, crossing over 295. Proceed 1.6 miles. Twin Brook will be on your right.

From the Maine Turnpike (I-95) North or Southbound Take Exit 53 – West Falmouth. Turn left at the stoplight onto North 26/100. (Dunkin Donuts & the Hannaford shopping area are straight ahead) Travel 1mile to the second traffic light. Turn right onto West Falmouth Road. At approx. ¼ mile, the road forks. Stay to the left on Winn Road. Follow Winn Road for 3 miles until it ends at the intersection with Route 9. (A Mobil station will be on your left.) Turn left onto Route 9. Travel approx. 1 mile to the traffic light at the center of Cumberland. Turn right onto Tuttle Road Stay on Tuttle Road for 1.7 miles, passing Mabel Wilson School, the Cumberland Town Hall and over railroad tracks. Twin Brook will be on the left side of the road
